This is what happens when you force little boys to make christmas decorations at school. Creepy, but matching the little golden paper planes on the christmas tree.

and yes, they are from a mac. And we are over exited. But a new year is pretty cool. We're gonna be 22 in 6 months time. Imagine that! Crazy days. 5 days 'till London again!

My wing is poised to beat
but I would gladly return home
were I to stay to the end of days
I would still be this forlorn
(Gershom Scholem, “Greetings from Angelus")
"There is a painting by Klee called Angelus Novus. It shows an angel who seems about to move away from something he stares at. His eyes are wide, his mouth is open, his wings are spread. This is how the angel of history must look. His face is turned toward the past. Where a chain of events appears before us, he sees on single catastrophe, which keeps piling wreckage upon wreckage and hurls it at his feet. The angel would like to stay, awaken the dead, and make whole what has been smashed. But a storm is blowing from Paradise and has got caught in his wings; it is so strong that the angel can no longer close them. This storm drives him irresistibly into the future to which his back is turned, while the pile of debris before him grows toward the sky. What we call progress is this storm." (Walter Benjamin)
As he was my last philosophic obsession, before Schopenhauer and Nietzsche took over, i found this little aphorism from Benjamin in a German Thought lecture. I found it so intriguing, and couldn't let go, as it gets more and more intense the deeper you look into it. Thought it'd suit new years eve tomorrow.
Happy new year everyone.

PS3 + Guitar Hero + Microphone + Beatles Rock Band + 13 year old brother = Good times!

I love a lot and I can't explain it, and it's good.
Happy days with snow, Nietzsche, Schopenhauer and graphic novels.

Noisy family, lots of hugs, christmas tree, snowing outside and proper norwegian christmas eve will be almost over in 24 hours. Happy now. Everything in its right place, including me.
